The Committee on the Rule of Law and Justice recommends that the Parliament should reject the draft law on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine (re securing execution of decisions of international organizations in view of protection of human rights)

The bill (Reg. No. 2268) suggests amend the Criminal Procedure Code, the Administrative Proceedings Code, the Economic Procedure Code, the Civil Procedure Code, and the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements in order to consolidate provisions of part four of article 55 of the Constitution of Ukraine regarding implementation of the right to court protection by recognizing the decision of the respective body of international organization, jurisdiction of which is recognized by Ukraine. People’s deputies believe that the suggested amendments appear ill-founded and unduly and require additional scientific and practical examination.
